The expansive 3,000 m² mini-golf facility is located in the town of Klütz. The diverse 18-hole adventure golf course offers fun and excitement for both young and adult explorers. Set on walkable artificial turf, players can navigate thrilling obstacles inspired by various thematic worlds, such as a water wheel, a shipwreck, or a sea lion. Between rounds, visitors can recharge for the next swings with snacks and drinks. Leashed dogs are welcome throughout the entire facility.

The former Bothmer Mausoleum is tucked away under trees in close proximity to St. Marien Church and was sold to the church in 1938 by Ludwig Count von Bothmer. The building, approached by a short lime tree avenue, is stylistically inspired by the stately home "Schloss Bothmer" and now serves as a funeral hall. The sarcophagi of the von Bothmer family, once placed there, were transferred to the burial chapel near the "Schloss Bothmer" after the sale.

The mausoleum is currently not accessible to the public.

Up to 600 colorful tropical butterflies can be admired in the more than 700 m² planted free-flight hall. The world's largest butterfly, the Atlas Moth, the blue Morpho butterfly, or the zigzagging Banana Butterfly are just a few examples. The jungle landscape also features a variety of tropical plants, such as banana trees and bamboo. The café offers cakes, hot meals and beverages, while the shop provides everything related to butterflies.

The park is wheelchair accessible. Dogs are allowed to roam in the café and shop but not among the butterflies (they can be carried on the arm or in a transport box).

The heritage room exhibits furnishings from various centuries, such as kitchen furniture from the 19th century. Experience a magical journey through the Klützer Winkel with the 'Lütt Kaffeebrenner,' a nostalgic narrow-gauge train with a 600 mm track gauge. The 6 km route from Klütz to Reppenhagen offers picturesque views of the Mecklenburg countryside, passing fields and trees. From April to October, the little train travels past the baroque castle complex 'Schloss Bothmer,' through rustic landscapes and into the small village of Reppenhagen. When the sun is shining, guests can enjoy the ride in open carriages and in cooler weather, the journey takes place in closed carriages through the beautiful Klützer Winkel.

From April to the end of October, visitors can shuttle between the Baltic Sea resort Boltenhagen and the fishing village Timmendorf on the island of Poel aboard the MS Seebär, which accommodates up to 50 people. Additionally, the boat offers trips to the seal sandbank of the island of Lieps. Please note that the MS Seebär is not wheelchair accessible and items such as strollers, wagons, or bicycles cannot be brought on board. Dogs are welcome. Current schedules can be found on the notice board at Pier D and on the MS Seebär website.

Just a few meters separate Groß Schwansee Manor from the natural Baltic Sea beach. The path leads from the extensive estate park through a magnificent linden avenue with a view of the Baltic Sea. The classical manor house was built in 1745 on behalf of the von Both family, who had been residents here since the 14th century. Their coat of arms, flanked by the coats of arms of the von Plessen and von Dorne families, can be seen in the triangular gable on the courtyard side. In 1998, the manor estate and the former horse stable were restored and the park building was constructed. Visitors can indulge in heavenly dishes and high-quality menus at the "Schlossrestaurant 1745" and the brasserie in the former horse stable.

The Baroque castle, protected as a monument, was built in 1763 and underwent extensive restoration from 1991 to 2001. Today, it serves as an institution for the promotion of modern art and functions as an artist's residence. On the lower floor of the castle, the history of the castle is presented in two exhibition rooms. The house hosts various exhibitions, workshops and other events.

Built in the 17th century, the castle shines anew after extensive restoration. Since 1999, the castle has been privately owned once again. The ground floor houses an agricultural enterprise, while the first floor hosts an art gallery. In the courtyard, there is an artist section where artists can live and work. The manor house hosts various cultural events. The picturesque castle park invites visitors to leisurely strolls, surrounded by historic trees and well-maintained green spaces.

The climbing park is located directly on the beach promenade of the Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen and offers a picturesque view of the Baltic Sea. With five different courses and over 80 elements ranging from a low 1 meter to an impressive 11 meters in height, the park provides the right challenge for every adventurer. Highlights include an 80-meter-long zip line, an impressive 11-meter-high climbing net, three Tarzan nets and a base jump from 10 meters high. Due to its location in the evangelical family holiday village Boltenhagen, there are also plenty of catering options and seating available for visitors.

In the prehistoric open-air museum, an authentic replica of a Stone Age settlement has been created to bring history to life. Visitors have the opportunity to explore houses from the Neolithic period, huts from the Mesolithic era, Stone Age tools, clothing and containers. Additionally, they can visit a small herb garden and a field with up to 10,000-year-old cereal varieties, as well as ancient livestock breeds such as sheep and pigs.

The open-air museum not only provides insights into past ways of life but also allows for active participation, including pottery, weaving and archery. Occasionally, spear-throwing courses are also offered. At a special fire pit, visitors have the opportunity to grill "sausages on a stick." Customized guided tours are available for interested groups with prior arrangement. Dogs are welcome in the open-air museum as long as they are kept on a leash.

SwinGolf offers entertaining leisure fun for the whole family. The goal of the game is to propel a 52-millimeter diameter ball with a club featuring three different striking surfaces into a hole with as few strokes as possible, spanning an expansive course from the tee. At Café Großklützhöved, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy homemade cakes and pies.

The approximately 92 m high viewing platform in Kalkhorst offers a magnificent view over the Klützer Winkel. On clear days, you can see the Hanseatic city of Lübeck to the west, the Schleswig-Holstein Baltic Sea coast up to the Fehmarn Sound Bridge to the north and the Hanseatic city of Wismar to the east. The platform is also intended to be a symbol of overcoming the division of Germany. The hill near the village of Hohen Schönberg had the unofficial name 'Sehnsuchtsberg' (Longing Mountain) during GDR times.

The southernmost marina on the Baltic Sea offers 350 berths for boats with a length of up to 60 m. The bay location, facing the sunny south, is nestled within a recreational and holiday complex featuring promenades, restaurants, fisherman's huts and hotels. Visitors can rent boats or take a water taxi to the surrounding ports.

The seat of the tourist office for the Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen is located in the Kurhaus, which was built in the year 2000 and is considered one of the architectural highlights of the community. On the ground floor, you will find the tourist information and the seaside library.

Spa Park

With its promenades, a 500 m long boxwood hedge, white wooden benches, a concert pavilion and a drinking cure hall, the spa park is a special attraction for visitors. Various events take place almost daily in the spa park.

Dune promenade

The barrier-free promenade runs parallel to the coastline. With a length of over 2.2 km, it invites strolling and lingering. It features 18 access points, comfortable wooden benches, 17 landward platforms with beach huts for beach chair rentals and five stations for the DLRG lifeguards of the Baltic Sea resort. The illuminated promenade at night provides a splendid view of the Baltic Sea.

Pier

A stroll on the 290 m long accessible pier is a must for every visitor to the Baltic Sea resort.

Klütz is a town in the district of Nordwestmecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany). It is administered by the Amt Klützer Winkel. Since July 4, 2022, the town of Klütz and the districts of Wohlenberg and Oberhof have been recognized as state-approved recreational resorts, while the entire town of Klütz with its 11 districts has been designated as a tourist resort since December 16, 2022. Situated in the picturesque Klützer Winkel between the Hanseatic cities of Lübeck and Wismar, the municipal area stretches from Wohlenberg with its long sandy beach to Steinbeck with its impressive cliff coast. Klütz is particularly known for the Baroque castle Bothmer, which has been restored according to old original plans, with its imposing avenue of festoons.
